LG Optimus 7 and Photosynth not loving each other

As can be seen in the video above, the Photosynth app is not working too well on the LG Optimus 7.
The problem seems to be related to the accelerometer, and is not confined to the user in the video, with many reviews on Marketplace complaining of the same problem.
